hey everyone

well im not really sure if this belongs here...but it does deal with Halo...and it does deal with T2...so anywya here it goes

i started making a Halo based mod for C&C Renegade a while ago...we got a few models done but the mod died due to not alot of help from the community and so few DEV members working on it...welll i decided that i really wanted to make it in T2 even before Renegade..and finally decided to try and make it for T2

This mod will have totally new weapons vehicles characters bases and maps =OP...this mod, if i get people to help me, should be great and people will love it...and yes i know your going to have to download files...it would be kinda pointless to have a halo mod and no new models

i can model and kinda well...i can't skin or UVWMAP but im hoping that people who like Tribes 2 and Halo or just Tribes 2 that can either

I'm very intrested in this project, it looks like it has a lot of potential and if you got a dedicated team it could be a hell of a lot of fun.

I'll let Rifter from PlanetTribes know about this project, I'm quite sure the guys over there would be really interested too.

A mod is a modification for a game =OP

ill be making a mod for T2 thast based around Halo that will add new plyaer models vehicles maps bases weapons and species...its going to be a TC and its going to be like Halo (kinda)

and what im wanting...is people who are willing to either make models..UVWMAP the models..skin the models...get the models in game..make maps...script code for the mod...and beta test the mod..and stuff like that

now me myself i can model..i can't UVWMap but i can kinda skin..i have no scripting or coding knowledge and of course i can beta test it =OP

but yea what i want is people who are willing to help make the mod in any way they can as what i mentioned above

yea i know i kinda repeated myself...do u get what im asking though?...if not ill try and tell u what i want =OD

hey great idea... but i was wondering, the vehicles in halo (especially the jeep) seem very fast, and versitile... and the T2 vehicle could for ground (not to mention wheeled) vehicles is a real mess and in my point kinda sucks...

I love the idea, and good luck in trying to get those vehicles to work right because they WILL BE a hassle... I've tried it myself and I dont really like the results I get, but I do this for fun and you might know the code better than I do.

Again, great mod idea, I'll be looking out for this one

Jasio..does that mean u can code and model? (i hope) and would u mind helping me with me mod (hope even more) if not its cool...just trying to see my options lol

anyway yes i know...thats why its a halo-based mod...it won't be a wheeled vehicle..itll be hovering...just like the covenant vehicles...as for the tank..that might to be redone totally...but most of the vehicles will be hover

im also going to probly have some kind of Mobile Artillary for both side..and those will be ground (except covenant) and move at the speed of the MPB..in order to fire it must be maned and must not be moving...but yea ive thought about vehicles and most will be hover

I havent coded for a while... I would have to start digging into my old files.

I'll take a look at what I got and I might be able to get some stuff in, but since school dominates the day I would have to decline helping, but if I find anything that might help in your development then I will forward it (or files) over to you so you can use them at your discreation.

I don't think thiers any other Lennex's in any online community, chances are that 9.9 times outa 10 if you see someone named Lennex in any online server it's me I've just mostly been a lurker in these forums (still mostly am...) I'm mostly around PlanetTribes :P

So yea, I am the guy that was doing C&C:Tribes2. I'm still very diapointed that EA made me disband the team

If you want any help for your MOD, I could probably help you out with it. I can do maps and skins currently, I would do modeling or scripting but I'm focusing all my modeling and c++ abilities on Nitee Racing right now :P

and thankx alot Lennex =OD...i dind't except u to help me because i thought u were busy...but i guessed wrong =OD..thankx i appreciate it...i downloaded ICQ and added u (no i didn't just download it for u =OP lol..i had to get it anyway for something on C&C: Renegade) and ill talk to u whnever u get on

i also thank you Lennex for talking to the people at Planettribes about being hosted...although i think im going to be hosted on here instead (after all the guy from junkyard did say i could be hosted on here and that they have first dibs lol)

but they want me to wait and get a team and stuff before i get hosted...i told him that i didn't want him getting disappointed before so im not surprsied...i just think if i had a site id get more feedback and stuff..so i need to talk to the guy from junkyard again on what we can do

Actually I had a feeling you would be getting hosted here, so I didn't tell them that you we're looking for hosting. I'm just buds with Rifter and showed him this thread.

And I am actually pretty busy, but I know how hard it is to get a project off the ground and you could use all the help you can get
